Took this from digg and thought it was a great idea. You can even see a picture of a game going on at Fenway Park.

Since June 16th, I have been on a very sleep deprived state of mind. I have recently moved in with my girlfriend and its been great with some few exceptions…
Saturday the 16th was a long day, my father and my brothers helped move my stuff and her stuff into the truck and we were packed and unpacked by 4pm. But that’s when the fun starts. Since that Saturday, there really hasn’t been any unpacking. Monday we had our FIOS internet and TV installed (which is awesome btw, I do recommend it) which allowed me to get a few online chores done (bills, emails, etc). Tuesday we had our furniture come (pics will follow) and our brand new mattress.
I was originally on vacation that whole week (we have a lot of unfinished furniture that needs to be finished (sanding, priming/staining and painting), however, with some recent changes at work and visitors from out of state coming, I was summoned in to give presentations on Thursday. With another 2 important presentations on the following Monday and Tuesday (25th and 26th), working from home wasn’t remotely (see what I did here?) possible that Wednesday (but I did Tues and Wed night). So I came in on my 2 days off to give my presentation and meet some people visiting from the midwest. It went fairly well, but I question the long term outcome of this visit, not only towards the science, but my career as well.
The weekend was spent at the cape with my lady and we had a wonderful time relaxing. The weather was beautiful and the wedding of my friends Amanda and Pat was awesome. They had a great day and a great location out by the harbor of West Dennis. Besides some shopping, a great deal of the weekend was spent in bed sleeping and watching TV which was something that neither of us had since our move.
Monday and Tuesday were hectic with my presentations. Up late Sunday night working and up again Monday night provided me with little to no sleep. Presentations went well and again, I’ll refer back to whether this will have an impact on my career or not.
Needless to say, I spent last night, the one free night I had playing a little bit of video games and reading the 5th Harry Potter. I had to call it a night when I got too wrapped up into the book past midnight (mind you I’m up for work by 4:45am). I’ll probably spend tonight up reading as well. But at least my mattress is comfortable to give me my 4-5 hrs of uninterrupted sleep!
For the past few days, I have been receiving text messages concerning horoscopes under Taurus from 44566. Who in the hell signed me up for this? And furthermore, I am not a Taurus! Well after a week of receiving these alleged text messages, I decided to google this number 44566 and text messages. What comes up is this website Frengo. What in the hell is Frengo? I went to the website and found an immediate answer on how to cancel. But what I want to know is who started this with my phone?
It seems as though they have stopped for now, but be wary of what you get. Google can be your best friend in finding out what the hell all of this means.
This is a powerful video. Stumbled upon it while thumbing through Digg. It makes me sad that there are people out there who bash teachers and say they have an easy job. My girlfriend is a teacher, 2nd grade in fact. And I see her work so hard day in and day out, weekends and on school vacations, just to help these kids, make them learn and move on to the 3rd grade with passing marks. Its not easy when you have students with learning disabilities, yet she still gets it done. If the country would just learn to give more money into the education system, we wouldn’t have such screw-ups running this place.
